Artist Statement: This style of painting came together from a holiday that Edwina and I took to The Great Barrier Reef on a scuba diving course over 30 years ago. We were 40 kms out to sea on the outer reef for 4 days. here was nothing to see in every direction except for blue sky and a deep blue ocean, but then we went under the sea to encounter a whole new world. Still inspiring to this day to paint that experience.
